The cats' Grammy came down yesterday to help get rid of tables and chairs. Bacon frantically paced around while Tee sat right in the middle of everything, spreading her large kitty belly out and claiming all the furniture I needed to move. My mom hesitantly tip toed around Tee. Trex doesn't really like her Grammy, despite the many toys she buys for them.
The cats are pretty possessive about their toys and stuff. I've been trying to teach them the Buddhist philosophies around consumerism and capitalism. A cramped kitty condo is a cramped spirit. I'm excited about the chance to weed through some things and have a fresh start. The apartment is a little crazy right now. There is just too much stuff and I feel a little claustrophobic.
In an attempt to free their spirits, Bacon and Tee gave away their favorite pink kitty tent to Smooch. Smooch is a rock star kitty living on the hill, she's the proud cat of Kitty Van Dyke (burlesque Dancer and Artist soon hitting the streets of Montreal) Here are some photos of the tent and the delightful little Miss Smooch.
